Jean has been a photographer for twenty-five years. In her early years as such, and while going to school to gain experience, she produced many photo projects for free. Jean says, "you can sit in a classroom all day, however there is nothing like shooting a real job and learning how to manage situations not covered in books!

Her "real job" came along while still a student. During this phase of her career path Jean worked for a professional "wedding & portrait" photographer. Jean calls this time period of her development as a photographer her "bread & butter" years. She covered nursery schools, dance schools etc. Out of this came her ability to work well with a variety of people, and another important element surfaced consisting of "when to know it'.

Next on the horizon for Jean was the Advertising industry. In this arena she learned how to produce collateral materials such as catalogs, design flyers for the Sunday newspaper, photography for billboards, and working with fashion models.

Another mile-stone in Jean's career path was the day she went to work for one of the "big three" Ford Company. This was an exciting career move, fun and a journey that lasted for seventeen years.

TODAY... with her years of professional experience behind her she has ventured into owning her own photography business with her husband Mark performing as her assistant. A natural development some might say, in fact she is back to her beginnings by specializing in weddings, engagement photos, wedding anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, family portraits, also special events/company parties, children's portraits, and producing photo greeting cards.
